e.d.s. (exposed dry system) is a surface system developed by inverso and presented at Drop City, Milan, during Milan Design Week 2026.
It is the outcome of two years of research and experimentation on the aesthetics and engineering of dry construction systems. Its premise is to reverse the hierarchy between structure and surface, bringing forward what design and architecture usually conceal.
The system can be applied in different design contexts.
Following a circular approach, construction site waste is reintegrated into the production cycle, and industrial leftovers become part of the design.
