during design week 2022, we created the wall and ceiling coverings for the 1:1 scale mock-ups of the Drop City coworking spaces. the intervention transforms walls and ceilings into a single, continuous field, where decoration emerges from the structure itself. a regular grid traverses the space with measured rhythm, building a silent yet active surface capable of interacting with light. the nodes of the composition are interrupted at calibrated points: small material emergences that break the linearity and introduce a subtle but constant perceptual variation. the system does not add ornamentation; it generates it from within, making visible the logic that supports the space.
